Selected Murals

As a full-time professional artist, I have worked in many different arts industries, including working as a Muralist on private and public projects, both indoors and out. Below are a few highlights of the most significant, recent murals that I've painted where I was the sole or lead artist (and in MOST cases, the designer!). Over the course of my career, however, I have worked on/assisted on countless murals for public and private enjoyment. In 2012 I completed the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Training Program and, in addition to my own independent projects, have worked with Mural Arts on several murals as an assistant painter and restoration artist (restoring and repainting murals around Philadelphia). Click here to view some other projects that I have worked on over the years!

This page is really just a teaser, highlighting a few of my more recent or significant murals. For a more comprehensive viewing of my Murals, Scenic Work, and other kinds of corporate or public projects, click the button below to visit my portfolio.

Statement from my sponsor, DayDream Kreative Studios:
"We are thrilled to announce the initiation of a vibrant mural project aimed at beautifying our community and igniting the spirit of creativity among its members. Spearheaded by Nahjee Grant's DayDream Kreative Studios and painted by Erica Harney, this large-scale artwork is situated at 39 E Lancaster Ave in Ardmore set to become a landmark of cultural enrichment and artistic expression in our area. The mural is envisioned to not only transform a blank wall into a canvas of color and life but also to serve as a symbol of unity, showcasing the talents and stories of our local artists. With the support of local businesses and organizations, this project embodies a collective effort to enhance our community landscape while fostering a sense of pride and belonging among residents. We invite the community to join us in celebrating this artistic endeavor and to witness the transformative power of art in public spaces."

The World in One Place, 2023. Exterior controller box mural. 69th St. and Marshall Rd. in Upper Darby, PA Approximately 10' x 4' x 2' (360*). Approximately 57 hours on-site.

This project is part of a new mural arts initiative being developed by Upper Darby Township. Inspired by Upper Darby’s motto, “The World in One Place,” my design begins with a background of overlapping shapes and colors loosely inspired by the national flags that reflect Upper Darby’s diverse ethnic and cultural heritages. Unifying the patchwork of this abstract and colorful background are the branches of a white flowering dogwood tree, one of our area’s most beautiful species of native trees. The design celebrates the natural beauty of southeastern Pennsylvania and emphasizes the environmental importance of protecting native species. It also represents the beauty and diversity of people and cultures that have helped to grow, shape, and add character to our community. The painting implies the harmonious balance between the natural environment and those that inhabit and care for it.  Click here for more pictures of this mural.

Midway Ave. alley., Lansdowne, PA.

This mural began in the summer of 2020 and has been added to yearly (most recently, May of 2023, as shown here!). The clients, dismayed by their ability to travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic, opted to create an exotic waterfall mural on the back of their home  as a way to bring the outside world to them.

The mural was painted on the back of the home, two and three stories above ground. Visit my mural portfolio to see how this project has evolved over time.
