I incorporate scrap materials from my “day job,” painting murals and large-scale backdrops/scenery for tv, theatre, museums, cruise ships, parades etc to make semi-abstract paintings and collages. I witness a colossal amount of waste working in the entertainment and production industries, and I often salvage materials such as scrap lumber and muslin that would ultimately end up in dumpsters.​​
