Starting Rates + Order Forms for Custom Paintings
I would love to create a custom painting of your special place! I accept commissions for custom watercolors and oil paintings depicting locations and scenery, such as houses, landscapes, gardens, businesses, schools, wedding venues, places of worship and interiors as well as pets and vehicles. I offer multiple options of size, medium and framing as well as options for modifications and other special requests. As of 2021 I am no longer accepting orders for figure portraits. Instead, please reach out to my colleague, Lauren Rinaldi.
Turnaround time varies by the size, complexity and medium of your project, time of year and my availability/current workload. The AVERAGE time for a custom watercolor is 7-10 business days (before shipping). The AVERAGE time for a custom oil painting is 3-4 months. Expect longer wait times on orders placed between November and December. Gift Certificates and Place-Holder Certificates are available upon request. Pricing and wait time are subject to change with demand. Prices do not include 6% PA sales tax nor shipping/handling/insurance costs.
I carry a limited selection of frames: two different sizes of basic black or white frames with white mat. For the safety, ease, and affordability of shipping, the frames I use are plexiglass, not actual glass. For the long-term legacy of your painting, professional framing with archival mats and UV-protectant glass (or comparable) is always encouraged. I am happy to provide recommendations for custom framers upon request.
